Lakeshore East will be getting a new Luxury glass condominium building with the support of Alderman Brendan Reilly at a prime waterfront location. This will be one of the largest developments in Chicago, that will add to the beautiful Chicago’s Skyline as well as a luxury resort lifestyle for its residents. Lendlease and co-developer Magellan Development Group, will be bringing Cirrus Luxury Condos to the Lakeshore East community, which will feature 363 condominiums and over 48,000 square feet of amenities. Cirrus Luxury Condos amenities includes, 24-hour doorman, fitness studio, spin studio, yoga studio private massage room, wine cellar, wine tasting lounge, Outdoor circuit area, state of the art fitness center, dog run, play area for the children, 25 yard heated in-door lap pool, out door pool with a fireplace, lounge, golf and sport stimluator room, electric car charge station and so much more….
The 47-story lakefront condominium tower will be located in the 200 block of North Harbor will range from 650 and 3000 square feet luxury homes priced starting in the mid-$400,000s to $4 million.
The initial mobilization for construction of the Lakeshore East project will begin in July. This will mark one of the final phases of the Lakeshore East developments. As part of the Cirrus Condominium project Lendlease will be building a temporary sales center at the northeast corner adjacent to the Shoreham.
The sales center will be a single story structure comprised of three trailers together, with a glass façade to mimic the Cirrus building. The interiors will have sales offices, a fully furnished mock up of a one bedroom apartment, a building model and digital wall experience. The lot will be improved with extensive landscaping with a sloping lawn to resemble Cascade Park, walking path, the addition of 15 trees and plantings, a community herb garden, various seating areas and a small bench overlook to The Park at Lakeshore East. This area will be accessible to the general public for all to enjoy. Once sales are complete, the trailers will be removed and the space taken up by the trailers will be landscaped along with restoration of the parkway.
